Tell Me What I Gotta Do (To Win You Over)

CrissColfer AU: Darren finds it hard to win Chris over because they’re both witches, and his coolest tricks are things that Chris has seen already.

~ title: Over - Blake Shelton

A/N: i just wanted some magic!crisscolfer, and i just discovered this song….

Sitting on his bed, legs folded into Lotus position, Darren meditated, eyes closed, as his palms faced the ceiling, and he took deep breaths, allowing himself to enjoy the calm solitude.

For a while, he sat there, mind slowly releasing its burdens, until his eyes popped open, and he chewed on his upper lip. Today, this ritual was not working, and it was just so - ugh, he couldn’t even fathom why, to be honest; he just knew that it was about him - always him.

A/N: uh…well…does frotting count?

~ My Prerogative - Bobby Brown

“Is the paparazzi there? What if someone sees-“

“Shut up,” Chris snapped, cutting his rep off, as his eyes met ones across the room, and he licked his lips. “I don’t need permission to live my fucking life.”

“But-“

“I’ll deal with the consequences later. Tonight, though? I’m having fun.”

CrissColfer AU: Darren is friends with Chris, who is a selective mute, and they seem to just understand one another.

~ first | second

Chris really liked Darren - he did - but he didn’t know why the other man put up with him.

It’s not like Chris was a conversation-starter; often, even, he didn’t want to speak at all. Darren seemed to pick up on that, though, and he would fill in the silence with chatter or music.

Darren was a loud person - Chris could have surmised that without even meeting him - but it became a thousand times more obvious, when he started to sit beside Chris in their shared Creative Writing class and when they leaned up against a tree in the quad, person after person calling out Darren’s name to gain his attention.

In all honesty, Chris didn’t think he deserved the attention that Darren gave him, treating him as if he was the only person in the world that he wanted to talk to. And he never - not once - made Chris speak unless he wanted to. He didn’t force Chris to go places with him. He always knew the right thing to say to make Chris stop freaking out - silently, in his head - and he was understanding to the highest degree.

Counterculture CrissColfer AU: Chris and Darren meet after an anti-war protest in a jail cell.

“Hey, man. That was really brave - what’cha said to those meanies.”

Chris glanced beside him, the familiar Afro making him think of earlier in the day, when a cop tried to hit him with his baton, but the other man stepped in the way. The guy had a black eye and a split lip, but, other than that, he looked undeterred.

“Thanks,” he replied. “What you did for me, also…it means a lot.”

The other man wrapped an arm around him and brought Chris in for a one-armed hug, smiling when the gesture was returned.

anonymous: can you write something about chris surprising darren at his first show on his tour and his saying that his going to tag along all through out the tour?

“Don’t you have, like, a life, though?”

“Nope.”

“That’s so sweet. I didn’t know you were a romantic, Chrissy.”

“I’ll knee you in the groin.”

“That’s not romantic, Boo-bear.”

Chris pulled away from Darren’s throat, where he had been placing kisses, and he glared at the man sprawled beneath him, as they cuddled on Darren’s way-too-comfortable-to-be-in-a-dressing-room couch.

“Do you not want me to be here?”

Summary: Chris is proposed to by both twins, Blaine and Darren, and he goes to his brother, Kurt, for advice on who he should choose.

(anonymous: blarren humfer)

A/N: the last season of Family Matters was on BET, and i had no real prompt for this ship. it was kismet.

“They…both of them?” Kurt screeched, face showing how surprised he was, mouth hanging open and eyes wide.

Chris nodded in response, worrying his lower lip between his teeth, as he blushed, glancing down at the near-empty can of Diet Coke that sat before him.

His twin was quiet for a moment, thoughtful.

“You’re…in love with both of them…aren’t you?” Kurt guessed.

Chris looked over at his brother with a sad expression.

“Yeah.”

For a second, Kurt just stared into Chris’ eyes.

Then, he spoke.

“You should write a list,” he suggested. “Pros and cons for each of them.”

CrissColfer AU: Chris is a selective mute, and Darren has a crush on him.

They were in the same Creative Writing course at the University of Michigan. Darren had only chosen this class for extra help with his screenplay writing, and, at the beginning of the year, he hadn’t really taken it seriously.

That was, of course, until he spotted him.

His name was Chris. He was from a small town in California - Clovis, or something like that - and he liked to stay in his own little world, as opposed to participating in this one. For most of class, his head would stay bowed, as he scribbled furiously in his notebook - which changed every few classes because he wrote so much and need more space - and their professor never called on him.

Summary: Chris and Darren get into a fist fight.

The first punch hit Darren’s face hard, making him step back at the unexpected swing. Immediately, his hand reached up to cup his cheek, as he glared, wide-eyed, at Chris, who looked like an angry bull.

It wasn’t like Darren was innocent: he’d shoved Chris back a couple steps just a moment before.

Before they knew it, they were on each other, tackled to the ground as they shouted, fists flying and limbs flailing, as a surprised crew stood by idly before bustling to life, trying to pry the two men off of one another.
