Sebastian and Thad were sitting in the common room, where ever Warbler practice took place. Thad was dabbing Sebastian’s bloodied nose with a peroxide soaked cotton ball, and Sebastian was sitting in a chair, trying not to wince.
“That was really stupid of you,” Thad commented in a quiet, calm, voice as he continued to dab at Sebastian’s face.
Sebastian looked up at Thad with narrowed eyes.
Tonight, the Warblers and the New Directions had had a sing off. The Warblers had lost, and in the heat of the moment, Sebastian walked across the street to get a slushie and walked back to throw it at the gay faced kid, who he had seen playing tonsil hockey with Blaine right after the battle.
Needless to say, Sebastian wasn’t acting rationally, and, when Blaine jumped in front of the slushie and landed on the ground in the bitter cold of the night, neither was Kurt. He had made sure Blaine was okay and then he stood up, walked over to Sebastian, and used a killer right hook on him.
Sebastian had to admit, even though he really really didn’t want to, that he had deserved getting punched in the face.
His face softened when he realized that Thad was right. He placed his hand over Thad’s, pulling it away and standing up.
“I know,” he said, sighing, “but…I just…”
“You’re a sore loser?” Thad asked, smirking slightly at Sebastian. They both knew that he didn’t just mean the sing-off.
“Sort of,” Sebastian nodded, scrunching his face and instantly regretting it. He groaned and sat back down. Thad put a tissue under his nostrils so that his blood wouldn’t get all over his Warbler uniform.
Sebastian watched as Thad worked intently on cleaning off his nose. He watched the way the boy’s eyebrows knitted together as he concentrated, and how the tip of his tongue stuck out of his mouth. He looked down at Thad’s petite body, just now noticing how muscular the other boy really was. He was actually kind of hot, if Sebastian was honest with himself.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when Thad cleared his throat. Sebastian’s hazel eyes shot up to look into Thad’s dark brown ones. He smirked guiltily at the boy in front of him, actually feeling bad because Thad was trying to help him, and he couldn’t even get his mind out of the gutter.
Thad bit his lip for a moment and then said, “As long as you don’t lay on your face tonight, I think your nose should be fine.” Then added, “Take an Advil for the pain, though. It’ll help.”
Sebastian smiled at him and nodded as he stood up, towering over Thad, “Thanks.”
“You’re welcome,” Thad smiled at him. It was the cutest smile Sebastian had ever seen, and he had to mentally slap himself to stop thinking about it.
He smiled at the boy in front of him and then said, “I’ll see you tomorrow at practice, I guess.”
Thad nodded with a smirk, “I guess.”
Sebastian smiled and then turned around, leaving the room. Before he left, he stood in the doorway and watched as Thad put away the first-aid kit he had used. He could hear Thad humming, and he smiled to himself as he walked down the hallway toward his dorm.
Thad had a really nice voice.
